Sunday March 27 Well, we did the Kennedy Space center today.  Really tour, but they have changed it a lot so trips out to the launch pads is out.  Stopped them not long ago when they started to prepare for the Artemis practice flights.  There will be a launch of the Space X on Friday so we might make it back here to witness it.  Parker never let me stay for a launch while working on the Shuttle.  Renie enjoyed it that is all that counts.  Lots of folks there from all over.  New Imax that was great.

March 26, 2022 Happy Birthday, Steve! We arrived in Titusville, FL today.  Indian River RV Park is a very small quaint park in the Historic downtown area of Titusville. Right behind our motorhome is a restaurant that was serving a Crawfish Boil today.  We decided to give it a try.  A lot of work to get a small amount of meat from the Crawfish, but tasty.   Enjoy the pics.
Saturday, March 26, my birthday Missed some updates for Thursday.  Thursday we stayed in Baton Rouge, La.  We have decided that La has just a lot of unusable land.  Miles and miles of swamp land.  One bridge we passed over was 20 miles long.  Not much traffic until we got 20 miles from our destination, of course.  Traffic came to a stop and Renie's phone indicated traffic was stopped for 30/40 miles ahead.  Luckily for us we were at an off ramp and drove the back roads of La to Baton Rouge.  Not much room on them roads.  and with the traffic stopped on the Hwy, we were not the only folks that decided to drive thru the country.  Cops were at every intersection directing traffic.  at one crossing, I hit a significant dip that pulled the power line to the toad off.  Kind of shook us up, and then the whole rid started shacking like I had a flat. We pulled off in an empty lot and a friend by the name of Keith Ride drove up and...
I guess we were having too much fun last night finding a spot for tonight.  So we are in Terrell, tx today.  Leaving soon.  No wind, no snow, no rain. Nice campsite.  Our generator is not working well so I get it fixed or we do not dry camp.  It is cycling and then shuts off.  Weird since we just had it serviced, oil filter, etc and that is it.   Traffic thru Dallas was not bad.  we paid for the Express lane so moved right past all the stalled traffic.  They have an interesting toll every few miles.  Up to $5 each time.  I have not idea how much we paid but will know when we see the bill.  Of to Baton Rouge tonight. Going to sample the local cuisine.
Not much progress today.  Stuck in our last camp as we got hit with 50+ mph cross winds late on the road and last night and it is not any better this AM. We decided to not risk the turned over rigs on hwy 40 the news is showing.  So, we have coffee, food, water, power, and Tv....staying in place.  This campground we have is $25 a night. We have stayed here several times in the past. No too fancy, but heck, who can beat the price.  Tomorrow the winds are supposed to be about 15 mph which I can handle.  Oh, so now it is snowing, horizontally.  Toodles.

March 21, 2022 Day 2 of our adventure.  Last night we discovered that we haven't been using our MH in a while.  We had the Propane filled and the guy forgot to turn the valve on and also over filled it.  Since the heaters didn't turn on Steve was out checking the Propane in the middle of the night.  This morning we got it all working.   Traveling 500+ miles today was pretty uneventful until we hit Texas.  As stated yesterday we were behind the storms. Left Window Rock, AZ at 9:00 a.m and arrived in Alanreed, TX at 5:00.  If you are ever traveling in an RV near Alanreed be sure to pull into the Longhorn RV Park.  This is our 3rd time staying here.  Can't beat full hookups for $25.   The wind was blowing 30/50 mph gusts and it starting raining/snowing/hailing.  Quite the trip. We are safely at our camp site and heading for Fort Worth tomorrow. Blizzard warnings are in effect for tonight.  Might not get to lea...

March 20, 2022 We left home this morning headed to Window Rock, AZ.  We have reservations for the night at the Navajo National Museum, (Harvest Host).   Our Route through Hurricane, Colorado City, Jacob Lake were all uneventful until we were 7 miles from our turn onto 160 toward Tuba City.  There was a car accident on 89 that required Life Flight and a 45 minute delay.  After traffic moved again we made our turn and continued onto Hwy 264 toward Window Rock.  Hwy 264 is a very interesting highway.  2 Lane, winding and rough.  Beautiful scenery.   Found a Speedway Gas Station with diesel at $5.06/gallon and filled up before arriving at the Museum.   Looks like we are right behind the storms.  Had a couple of very minor rain storms, just enough to make our windshield dirty. Perfect place to stop for the night.  Tomorrow we are off to Texas.

2022 Florida and Gulf Coast Adventure

Leaving Sunday March 20, 2022 for Titusville, Florida. I have never been to Florida other than to get on a Cruise ship so am looking forward to seeing the State. Steve spent a lot of time at Cape Canaveral during his days working on components for the Space Shuttle so he has seen a bit more of the state than I have but it has been a lot of years.
